Father Lancelot Pereira

 Rohit Arya
Rohit Arya, (pen name of Rohit Pillai) is indiayogi's resident polymath - well read, articulate, knowledgeable and reluctant to suffer fools gladly. Naturally, he has experienced the old Chinese wish of living in interesting times all his life.

As a polymath, he keeps in touch with whatever is interesting in the world. Those interests encompass:

1. History and Sociology, at both of which he is a bit of a self-taught expert, Psychology and Philosophy, which he uses to sustain his self and maintain a sense of humour.
2. Cross cultural studies, especially in comparative religion, a quest that led him to accumulate and study the scriptures of every known religion on earth by the age of twenty-five.
3. The Fine Arts, which he put to good use as an Arts critic.

Mythology is his greatest passion, and he has educated himself into becoming a mythologist. He has many workshops designed around the myths we all live by. He was first class first in Mumbai University's postgraduate course in Comparative Mythology, which is a bit rich, as he literally had to be dragged to the exam hall by a friend of his. He conducts many other workshops in the areas of Awareness Building and Personal Growth.

Rohit wrote the first book on Vaastu Shastra to be published in the West, by Inner Traditions, the world's largest new age publisher. He is a professional Tarot reader as well as teacher and is a Tarot consultant for indiayogi. He is also the author of The Money Tarot Book, another pioneering effort in subject matter and the first serious Tarot book to be written and published in India.

 Meena Kapur
Meena is a Consultant Psychotherapist, who has worked with the Indian Council for Mental Health for fifteen years. Her Psychoanalytical orientation was under the guidance of Mr. Sarosh Forbes (Psychoanalyst, Mumbai) and Dr. Alan Roland (Clinical Psychologist and Psychoanalyst, Faculty and Board of Directors - National Psychological Association for Psychoanalysis, New York).

Meena has fourteen years continuous and varied experience in the field of Psychotherapy, specialized experience with adolescents, young adults and marital problems. She has participated in TV programs and radio talks on parent-child relationship and marital problems.

In addition, she has conducted a number of psychological films for schools and colleges, multinational corporations and social service organizations. Meena has also conducted an analysis program for a multi-media advertising campaign, and actively participated in many seminars and workshops related to the area of 'Mental Health'.

She formed an important part of the team which conceived, created and researched the spiritual albums 'Maha Mrityunjay' - a tribute to Lord Shiva and 'Surya' - the one and only manifest God, the omniscient and omnipotent Lord of light and energy, both released by Times Music.

She is also an avid writer, and some of her articles published include: Path of Love - Bhakti Marg, Make Your Marriage Work, Know Your Child, and Dreams.

 Santosh Sachdeva
Santosh is a woman of today drawn into the world of spirituality and reconciliation. The year 1995 marked a significant period in her life when she started attending the course on 'Brahma Vidya (Mental Physics)', conducted by Justice M. L. Dudhat of the Bombay High Court. The course has completely changed her life, bringing on a profound obsession with meditation and a surrender to the Higher Forces. She now continues to live with equanimity; a full life even in semi-retirement.

She is very well read on the subject of spirituality and the forces that guide it. She has also written three books 'Conscious Flight Into The Empyrean' , 'Kundalini Diary' and 'Kundalini Awakening ', wherein she invites readers to an unmapped journey of self-discovery. Shankar Nikam has revived the ancient Indian Martial Art in its modern form and renamed it as OMKAR DWANDKALA.  Shri Anil Pandya
Shri Anil Pandya belongs to a distinguished Brahamin lineage that specializes in the methodologies and processes of the Rites and Rituals dimension of the Hindu Religion, known as the Karma Kanda. This implies knowledge of the classical Sanskrit texts beginning with the Vedas, ability to perform the complex rituals of worship known as puja, presiding over the Fire Sacrifices known as Yagnas, a through grounding in the Hindu system of astrology as well as the knowledge of the intricacies of Yantras and Mantras.

Shri Pandya has been assisting in and performing these pujas since childhood in accordance with the traditional method of apprenticeship followed for millennia in India. He is regarded as one of the leading authorities in the field of Karma Kanda today as well as being a successful astrologer.

Shri Pandya is also well known for his Pravachanas, which are public expositions on various sacred texts of Hindusim. He has brought out two audio-tapes of sacred chants and his consulting practice sees him travel extensively, both abroad and within India.

He holds a Masters in Sanskrit from Bombay University.

 Peter Douglas
Peter Douglas teaches philosophy and yoga in Brisbane (Australia). His interest in philosophy includes both Western and Indian traditions, and his research is currently focussed on the philosophy of nature, as well as the relationship between philosophy and spirituality.

Peter has also been a student of yoga in various forms for over a decade, maintaining and developing his practice of hatha- and raja-yoga, and continuing to deepen his understanding of jnana-yoga. His yoga studies have brought him to India several times, and he is always looking for an opportunity to return again.

Dr. Sankara Bhagavadpada
Dr. Sankara Bhagavadpada completed his doctoral research [PhD] in Theoretical Nuclear Physics, from The Tata Institute of Fundamental Research, Mumbai in 1979. Thereafter for two and a half years he was in what was then West-Germany, at The Institute for Theoretical Physics, at the University of Frankfurt as an Alexander Von Humboldt post-doctoral research-fellow till late 1982. His research work was published in the form of ten papers in the best International journals in the field of Theoretical Nuclear Physics. There was for him, at this stage in his philosophical development an unmistakable inner call to enter into the spiritual sphere of Dharma, moving away in this process from his decade long academic pursuits.

Among the Jyotish Acharyas who had inspired him in his pursuit of astrological knowledge and wisdom are foremost Prof. V.K. Choudhry followed by ancient & contemporary Vedic astrologers, including Pandit Vamadeva Shastri. In the last eight years, his labours of learning have been in the spheres of Vedic astrology & the Systems Approach in the spheres of Dharma & Moksha. In terms of samskaras inherited, his maternal grandfather’s family was engaged in making Panchangas [almanacs] in the Andhra country. They were Vedic Purohits, who had dedicated their lives to Vedic-learning.

Using a judicious combination of Vedic astrology and the Systems Approach to Hindu astrology, he has thrown a flood of astrological light on the Self-Realization and life of Sri Ramana Maharshi, in his first work which is now awaiting publication. Apart from his Master Sri Sri Bhagavan, the three advaitic Masters Sri J. Krishnamurti, Sri Nisargadatta Maharaj and Sri Ramana Maharshi have also given him insights and peace and shaped his philosophical and spiritual development.

Radhakrishnan Pillai
Radhakrishnan Pillai is a Management Consultant to many companies and organisations. He conducts lectures, workshops & training sessions and is a visiting faculty to some of the top Management institutes in India. His articles and interviews are regularly published in leading Indian Publications including Mumbai Mirror (The Times of India) where he writes as a weekly columnist on principles and strategies from Kautilya's Arthashastra. He has also authored a couple of books on the subject and presented papers in national and international conferences.

Radhakrishnan has done Management in Industrial Development. He has also done an extensive management research course on Katutilya's Arthashastra, the first book on Management written nearly 2400 years ago by Chankaya, from Chinmaya International Foundation (CIF), under the guidance of Dr. Gangadharan Nair, the dean of Shree Shankaracharya Samskrit University, Kerala. He is currently working on a PhD in this subject.

Some of the companies where he has conducted training and consultancy work include Airtel, Air India, Mahindra and Mahindra, Aditya Birla Group, Phillips, Tata Consultancy Services, Pfizer, Wockhardt, Philips, Bhabha Atomic Research Center (BARC), Indian Railways, Siemens, Bombay Management Association (BMA), Hotel ITC, among others.

He is also the Founder Director of Atma Darshan, and has over 14 years experience in the fields of marketing and logistics. Atma Darshan has the unique credit of having organized tours to over 50 destinations across India for about 2500 travellers from India and abroad. The places include Kailash Mansarovar, Chardham, Ashtavinayak and various other temples and ashrams. Atma Darshan has got various International honors in the field of Spiritual Tourism.

Ravindra Junagade
Ravindra Junagade is a Graduate in Mechanical Engineering with Post Graduation in Marketing Management. He served in the senior management cadre of a large Public Sector Enterprise. After retirement from service, he worked towards creating an awareness in people about various social issues by expressing his views in leading dailies. Among social issues, his main concern is for restoring Child Rights and he is actively volunteering for this cause by associating with CRY - a leading NGO working in this field.

He was drawn towards Graphology when he got his handwriting analysed from a graphologist. He was astonished by the accurate findings about his personality based on his handwriting. However, he observed that this technique was not very popular in India. In fact, there were many misconceptions about it, mainly due to people practicing it with half knowledge. Since most of those who are learning Graphology are taking it up as a hobby or start practicing (or mostly teaching others) by attending some quick course, their knowledge is limited and this is reflected in the quality of their work.

He took it as a challenge to excel in this field and increase its popularity in the country. He studied extensively from various books and the internet to get an in-depth knowledge of the subject. He compiled his own notes so that maximum numbers of indicators in the handwriting, revealing various aspects of personality are duly noted. He also studied psychology to correctly draw conclusions from various traits observed in the writing and combine their results to arrive at the total personality of the writer. He analysed a large number of samples of known and unknown persons to sharpen his skills and improve his judgment in order to attain a high degree of accuracy. He has developed a comprehensive system on the computer for correlating various findings in the writing, editing and preparing of an analysis report. He has been offering consultations in Graphology, covering its applications in various fields.

 Dr. M. Mirchandani
Dr. M. Mirchandani, at the peak of a successful engineering career, had a massive heart attack but declined to undergo the recommended bypass surgery. He directed his enquiry to the health and study of the body's systems. Through chance meetings with practitioners in Germany and America, he became aware of alternate and complementary therapies and underwent Chelation therapy. After a full recovery and further study with specialists in Europe and America, he founded the Alternative Medical Center in India in 1994.
