GENERAL

How do I create a New Account?
Creating an account with us enables us to personalize all your transactions at Yogi Shop. All you have to do is to sign up at indiayogi.com to avail of the shopping facilities.




How do I shop at Yogi Shop?
Step 1: Sign Up / Login
If you are a new visitor, you will have to sign up with us by filling in the personal information in the fields provided. If you are a repeat customer, you can simply login using your login name and password, to browse through our various products and services.

Step 2: Shopping
After selecting the item of your choice, click on the 'Add to Cart' button which is provided next to the item details. The item gets added to your Shopping Cart. Keep adding the items of your choice, and they will be displayed in your Shopping Cart.

Step 3: Check Out
After adding all the items you wish to purchase, click on the 'Check Out' button. You will need to key-in your billing & shipping details (We Do Not Deliver to P. O. Box Addresses), Also, please ensure that you have provided your phone number. This is essential as our orders are delivered via Air Courier and the Courier company needs your phone number, in case they have difficulty in delivering your order. Then, choose your preferred payment mode and click on the 'Proceed' button.

Step 4: Verification
Verify the details you filled in the Check Out form. Click on the 'Purchase' button to register your order with us.

Important: Remember to make a note of your order number. You will be required to quote this, for any further communication regarding your order.



What is a Shopping Cart?
A Shopping Cart is a virtual carry-cart that displays the items you have chosen to purchase, along with the total of your purchase amount.

You can view your Shopping Cart by clicking the 'View Cart' link from the top links.


How do I update my order?
You can make the following changes to your current order in the Shopping Cart:
(i) Change the Quantity: To add or deduct the quantity of the particular item, click in the box where the 'Quantity' is mentioned, change the quantity and click on 'Update Cart'. Valid quantity range is from 1 to 100.
(ii) Delete an Item: To delete an item from the Shopping Cart, click the 'X' icon.



How do I cancel my order?
Please note the cancellations have to be made within 24 hours after placing an order. For canceling your order, you will have to get in touch with our Customer Support Executive by sending an e-Mail at shopping@indiayogi.com and giving the order number, as your reference.




In what cases will a return of goods be considered?
We have ascertained that the goods we source for Yogi Shop are of the best quality. We take every care to ensure that the items you order reach you, through air courier, in good shape and within the specified delivery time. We will not be liable for goods damaged, misplaced or lost in transit.

If your use of this Site or the materials sold thereunder results in the need for replacing material, neither indiayogi.com nor its affiliates are responsible for those costs. In the event of product sold requires replacing the product, indiayogi.com shall, at its sole discretion, do one of the following:

(a) replace the product sold that is returned to indiayogi.com with a copy of customer’s receipt; or

(b) refund the amount paid by you.

You will receive the remedy elected by indiayogi.com without charge, except that you are responsible for any expenses you may incur (e.g. cost of shipping the product to indiayogi.com). This limited warranty is void if defect in the product sold has resulted from accident, abuse, misapplication, negligence, abnormal use or improper or inadequate handling by the customer, improper use or operation outside the specifications for the product.

Special Note: Audio/Video Products
All Audio CDs, VCDs and DVDs are checked before dispatching by our Quality Control Department. With reference to Formats for VCDs and DVDS, please ensure you select the correct Format (PAL or NTSC). indiayogi will not be liable if you choose the wrong Format for your respective country.

If you have a problem with any Audio/Video product that you order, you will need to return it to us. Once we examine the same, we will revert to you. If it is found to be defective then we will replace it with a new set.




In which currency will I be charged for the purchases I make?
If you are placing the order from India you will be charged the INR price. For all other countries USD, GBP, EURO, CAD, AUD price will be applicable.

PRODUCT AVAILABILITY

What if the product I order is out of stock?
Generally, most of the products are in stock at Yogi Shop. In case a product is out of stock temporarily, we will normally need 10 additional working days (plus the lead-time) to deliver it to you. In case a product is out of stock for a longer period, we will e-Mail you a list of products. These products will be of the same worth as the unavailable product. From this list you can choose the product you want as a replacement. If you do not wish to take a replacement, then we will reverse your payment for that specific product.


VARIATIONS IN PRODUCT DESIGN

Will the product I receive match the design of the product which you have displayed in Yogi Shop?
Sometimes, there are likely to be slight variations in the size, shape, color and design of the product that you order from Yogi Shop. This is more likely in the case of handmade products made by rural artisans. As such products are hand-crafted, there are bound to be some minor variations, which you will have to allow for, from piece to piece.

e-GIFT

How do I send an e-Gift?
Now you can pick the gifts of your choice, or those which you think your friends and loved ones will like and appreciate, from the exotic array of Yogi Shop. The products will be wrapped in special Gift paper. Click here to see the sample.

To send an e-Gift follow these four steps:

(i) Add to Cart the products/services you wish to gift.
(ii) Click the 'Check Out' button.
(iii) Tick the check box - 'This is a Gift Order'.
(iv) Enter your message (optional).

What is CCAvenue?
CCAvenue is a company which processes our credit card transactions and are Verisign Secure.
Please note that the transactions you perform on Yogi Shop will appear on your Credit Card Statement, depending on the Card you use, as:

Can I change my payment mode for an order I have already placed?
If you have placed your order using a payment mode other than 'Credit Card', you can change your payment mode for the order. You can e-Mail us your new payment mode along with your order number at shopping@indiayogi.com.

DELIVERY

What will be the delivery charge applicable for my order?
If your billing and shipping country is India you will have to pay the Indian delivery charges. If your billing and shipping country is other than India you will have to pay the International delivery charges.

Why do some products have a note 'Delivery ONLY within INDIA'?
Certain products like diamond jewelry may have restrictions (placed by customs or courier company) that do not allow us to make delivery outside India. This information is placed next to each product.

How is my order delivered to me?
All orders are delivered worldwide, through Air courier, using a reliable courier service (orders for only books can be delivered by Registered Post overseas, if you choose that option). For Air Courier deliveries, our logistics partners will attempt to deliver the order 3 times. In case the delivery is not executed during these 3 attempts, due to a wrong address or the recipient being unavailable / premises being locked, the customer shall be responsible for the loss incurred on the order. Please note that the delivery of items will not be attempted on Sundays, or on any public holidays, due to unavailability of the courier service.

What is the lead-time for delivery?
Air Courier: Subject to the availability of stock, our minimum lead-time for delivery of any product or service is 7 - 10 business days for delivery within and out of India. However, different products may have different delivery lead-times. This is mentioned on various web pages.

In case there is no courier service to the address mentioned in the order, the order will be cancelled and the same will be intimated to you by e-Mail. In case you choose a 'Cheque' payment mode, the order will be processed only after your cheque has been realized. Outstation cheques would take approx. 25-30 days to realize. Cheques will be accepted for orders placed within India only. In case you choose the payment mode of 'Demand Draft', your order will be processed only after we have received your Demand Draft.

Registered Post: Subject to the availability of stock, our minimum lead-time for delivery of books by Registered Post overseas is 15 - 20 working days.

How will my order reach in case the town or place is not within your delivery area?
If our logistics partner for Air courier delivery does not provide delivery service to the shipping address mentioned in your order, as it may not be within its perimeter - an additional courier charge (Extended Service Charge) will be levied for making this door delivery. You will be kept informed via e-Mail. In this case, you will have to provide us with all the requisite details to process your order. Alternatively, the order will be cancelled.


Are there any Customs Rules, if I am an International Customer?
You may be subject to import duties and taxes which are levied once a shipment reaches your country. We have no control over these charges and cannot predict what they may be. Customs policies vary widely from country to country. You should contact your local customs office for further information.

Also, when you order from indiayogi, you are considered the importer of record and must comply with all laws and regulations of the country in which you are receiving the goods.

We would like to inform our international customers that cross-border shipments are subject to opening and inspection by customs authorities.

Also, we may provide certain order, shipment and product information to our international carriers, and such information may be communicated by the carriers to customs authorities in order to facilitate customs clearance and comply with local laws.

Please note, on bulk orders there is a customs clearance charge applicable. You will be informed of the same before the dispatch of your order. Customs clearance charges are different from customs duty charges.


Are there any Octroi Rules, if I am a domestic customer?
You may be subject to an Octroi charge when your shipment reaches you. We have no control over these charges and cannot predict what they may be.


When can I avail of Registered Post as a delivery mode?
In addition to the Air courier delivery mode, indiayogi delivers books by Registered Post Overseas. Delivery charges of the Registered Post are far lower than delivery charges by Air courier, so it is better to choose this option if you are not in a hurry to receive the books that you order.

If you are ordering only books, then you can choose this mode of delivery. However, please note that if you order any other product besides books in the same order, then you will not have the option of choosing Registered Post as a delivery mode.

Registered Post option is currently only available if your billing as well as shipping address is outside India. Please allow 15 - 20 working days for delivery by Registered Post.

How safe is it to shop at Yogi Shop?
We adopt stringent security measures to ensure that critically sensitive information, such as your personal information and your Credit Card details, are secured and protected at all times.
These measures are as follows:
(i) All your personal information is encrypted before it is transmitted over the Internet. This guarantees that your information is inaccessible to any third party.
(ii) We use industry-standard SSL (Standard Sockets Layer) Technology, which is used worldwide for this data encryption.
(iii) We follow strict in-house security guidelines for ensuring confidentiality of customer information.


What is the procedure for High-Value/Fraud Risk Credit Card transactions?
Sometimes, your order may be classified as a HIGH RISK transaction by the CCAvenue Risk Management Team due to incomplete/invalid/incorrect data submitted by you. "Manual Authorization" is required for this order.

In such a situation,  As per standing instructions from the CCAvenue Risk Management Team, we request you to scan and email or fax the below mentioned documents for verification of your order:
(A) The customer's credit card statement, which clearly shows the card number and the billing address of the card. The statement should be a recent one and should be of the same credit card used for the transaction. We only require a scan/fax of the header section of the customer's credit card statement, which contains this information.
(B) A photo ID of the credit card holder whose credit card has been used for this transaction. This may be any one of the following: -

  • Driver's License or,
  • Social Security Card or,
  • Passport or National Identity Card or,
  • PAN Card / Voters Card.

Please note that you have a maximum of 5 days from the date of your order to comply or else the CCAvenue Risk Management Team will automatically cancel your order.
